The Flower Guild has five volunteers. Some of these volunteers go north for the summer. Thanks to these volunteers who are on the Flower Guild. The flowers are bought each week from donations made by members of the congregation. Flowers can be given as a memorial and/or thank offering. Please give generously to enable us to continue to beautify the church. We have some lovely silk arrangements that can be used when there is no donation, but we prefer the live flowers.
We are responsible to have flowers on the altar for the Sunday services, weddings, and funerals. We each prepare the flowers about twice in a 4-month period. The flowers are paid for by donations from the congregation, averaging about $40 for the two vases a week. We are always looking for new designers and will help train you. Come join us!
