Duties include handing out the bulletins, being certain that all people are greeted in a friendly manner, finding weekly volunteers to help with the offering collection, taking counts of all in attendance, and leading the congregation one pew at a time to communion. Other duties include checking pews for discarded bulletins and personal items, placing hymnals and prayer books in the racks under each seat, placing unused bulletins in the recycle bin, refilling the seat backs with Visitor’s Cards and pencils after the services, and general tidying up of the church.
